I’ve always felt that there was something very special about this Inkstone Ocean.
Personally the way it came into my life is still a wonder to me. Meeting Maria Gorton in Rome, her energy and deep connection with art and nature.
It always felt like such a gift to watch over this beautiful creation.
I feel a very deep and emotional connection to this painting. Maybe because of its colours, the mood, maybe because of is intensity. The darkness giving way to the light reminds me of the spiritual journey every soul goes through.
In that horizon I see the clearing of doubt and fear, the opening of a way, I see hope for every mighty heart. It’s a soulfull painting, with a beautiful message, and a beautiful story and I’ll always feel blessed for meeting Maria and her inspiring art.
